Roadside Assist now has a portal!
If you’ve signed up for initio’s Roadside Assist service and find yourself stranded due to a breakdown, help is just a few taps away. With our new mobile app, getting back on the road has never been easier.
How It Works:
1. Complete the Online Form
Simply log in to the Roadside Assist portal and fill out the form. The app is fully responsive, so it resizes for any device, whether you’re on your phone, tablet, or computer.
2. Make Sure Location Services Are On
For the best experience, ensure that your location services are turned on. The app uses your mobile’s GPS to accurately pinpoint your location, so help can find you faster.
3. Enter Your Details
Just follow the easy prompts to log your details
- Vehicle Information: Enter your vehicle’s details to ensure our technicians know what they’re working with.
- Breakdown Type: Select the type of breakdown you’re experiencing, whether it’s a flat tyre, dead battery, or anything else.
- Your Location: Confirm your current location, and you’ll be assigned a First Rescue Technician within minutes.
4. Real-Time Updates
Once you’ve submitted your request, the portal will keep you updated in real-time. You’ll see live status updates on your First Rescue Technician’s location and estimated arrival time. No need to refresh the screen – it all updates automatically.
5. Call for Assistance Anytime
You can also call for assistance at any point during the process if you need further help.

If you haven’t added the optional Roadside Rescue cover, you can still call for assistance at a nominal charge. If you have an active vehicle policy with us you can do this through the customer dash anytime.
