Changing from Monthly to Annual

Can I change from monthly to annual payments after I’ve started my cover?

If you’re paying monthly but would like to switch to paying annually, you’ll need to set the policy up again.  Here’s how:

  • Log in to your dashboard.
  • Create a new quote.
  • Choose the “Pay Annually” option.
  • Fill in your property details once more.

After your new annual policy is active, you’ll then need to cancel your previous monthly policy and our system will refund any overpaid premium. 

Unfortunately, due to the different payment technologies used for each method we can’t simply change your policy from monthly to annual payment.

What if I want to switch from annual to monthly payments?

If you have an annual policy for your house that’s up for renewal, simply select the “Pay Monthly” option during the renewal process. 

If you need to change your annual payment policy to a monthly payment before your renewal date, you will need to set up a new policy by selecting the “House Insurance+” button from your dashboard, create a new quote, and select monthly as the payment option. 

Once you are set-up with a new monthly policy you can cancel your obsolete annual policy and you will be refunded a pro-rata amount based on the remaining period of insurance. 

Payment Options

Can I pay monthly by bank transfer or direct debit?

No, Monthly payments require a valid credit card or debit card and cannot be paid for by any other means.

Can I pay fortnightly?

Currently, we only offer monthly or annual payment frequencies. We do not have fortnightly options available.
